ARTIST STATEMENT

The beauty of nature inspires me to create. I am constantly painting in my mind the visual beauty that is around me. Capturing the light and colors of the changing seasons through my brush strokes is my passion. My medium of choice is acrylics. It helps me work fast and create vibrant paintings. I also work with watercolors. Pencils and charcoal are the mediums of my choice for portraits. Most of my works are painted en Plein air and in studio with my photos as reference. I love to paint landscapes with trees, changing seasons, water, flowers and people.
